KUALA LUMPUR: The Real Estate and Housing Developers' Association Malaysia (Rehda), in welcoming the appointment of Datuk Chor Chee Heung as Housing and Local Government Minister, is optimistic he would continue with the existing open-door consultation approach adopted in the housing industry.

"We look forward to working with him in ensuring continued growth of the housing and property industry," the association said in a statement on June 2.

Rehda hoped Chor would continue to adopt a business-friendly approach in consultations affecting various issues within the industry. -- Bernama
