PETALING JAYA: Pembinaan SPK Sdn Bhd has been awarded a contract from Abu Dhabi based developer, Aldar Properties PJSC for the Main Contract Works of the Al Raha Gardens Community Retail Centre Development in Abu Dhabi.

The AED29.9 million (approximately RM27.062 million) - contract was received on March 23, 2010,

Pembinaan SPK is a wholly owned subsidiary of SPK-Sentosa Corporation Bhd.

The Al Raha Project is expected to commence by end of March 2010 and will be completed by December 2010, said SPK-Sentosa in a filing to Bursa Malaysia on March 26.

“The Award is expected to contribute positively to the earnings of SPK-Sentosa for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2010,” it said.
