KUALA LUMPUR: The recent previews of Mah Sing Group’s latest residential projects in Cyberjaya and Selayang have drawn overwhelming interest from potential buyers.
Since the previews began on Jan 8, more than 2,600 potential buyers have registered their interest to purchase the Garden Residence – Resort Homes @ Cyberjaya (pictured) while the Perdana Residence 2 in Selayang saw over 1,500 registering for the homes. Both projects are slated for launch in early 2Q2010 and are expected to be completed in 2012.
“We knew there was demand for the properties, but the response was just overwhelming. The good response to the preview shows that the right product mix would be well accepted when launched. The early birds still have a window of opportunity until Jan 17 to register for choice units,” said Mah Sing Group Bhd’s Group Managing Director Tan Sri Leong Hoy Kum in a statement Jan 13.
“Well-designed properties with good concept, location and security are creating a product-driven sales boom as astute buyers locked in their investments, especially in the medium/high- to high-end landed homes which have proven to be very good hedges against the future,” he added.
Based on preliminary plans, the 115-acre gated and guarded Garden Residence – Resort Homes @ Cyberjaya will be a self-contained township in Cyberjaya with a clubhouse. With a gross development value (GDV) of RM690 million, the development comprises 765 units of 2-and 3-storey superlink, semi-detached and bungalow units. Indicative prices range from RM738,800 to RM1.8 million, with built ups of between 2,845 sq ft and 4,514 sq ft.
Meanwhile, covering 26 acres, the gated and guarded Perdana Residence offers 268 units of 3-storey superlink homes with built-ups of 3,182 sq ft and 3,400 sq ft. The indicative pricing starts from RM828,000 for intermediate units. The development has a GDV of RM209 million.
