KUALA LUMPUR: GuocoLand (Malaysia) Bhd has launched its latest 2-storey terraced homes Ebony Parkhomes (pictured) at its Emerald Rawang township in Rawang, Selangor.

The freehold properties form part of the residential community of Emerald West in the 1,000-acre township. Prices for Ebony Parkhomes start from RM306,800 for a 22ft by 75 ft intermediate unit. A total of 109 units of Ebony Parkhomes are being planned and will be launched in stages, said K C Chong, director of marketing and sales of GuocoLand Malaysia.

Almost 50% of 40 units released during a special pre-launch for current residents there from April 12 to 15 have been taken up, said Chong.

“The homes will offer new finishes and in addition to larger gardening areas, corner homes are also given the luxury of a ground floor covered terrace and balcony from the family room. The homes have been built with a gated and guarded residential concept.

The launch marks the continuing growth of Emerald as a major township in Rawang,” says Chong.

Landscaping plans include the planting of large trees to primary access routes. “We also intend to create a couple of pockets of small parklands, which will act as dedicated gathering places for the community,” he adds.

Emerald Rawang is a joint-venture between GuocoLand Malaysia and Hong Bee Land Sdn Bhd, with GuocoLand as the project manager. The township, which is made up of two precincts – Emerald East and Emerald West – has a mix of linked homes, cluster homes, semidee homes and higher-end bungalows. To date, about 1,300 homes have been built and sold.
