KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd has reprimanded Golden Plus Bhd Holdings Bhd and also fined its six directors a total of RM120,400 for the dealy in submitting the company's financial results.
The regulator said on Oct 2 the directors were responsible for the delay in sbumitting the annual audited accounts and annual report for FY ended Dec 31, 2007 and quarterly report for the financial period ended March 31, 2008
It fined executive director Low Thiam Hoe RM43,000. It fined Datuk Abdul Halim Abdul Rauf (non-independent and non-executive chairman); Goh Sin Tien (executive director); Datuk Jeyaraj V. Ratnaswamy (independent and non-executive director, audit committee chairman); and Yeoh Hor San (independent and non executive director) RM17,200 each.
Tan Sri Lamin Mohd Yunus (independent and non executive director)was fined RM8,600.
Bursa Securities said GPlus had failed to submit the company's annual audited accounts for FY2007 on or before April 30, 2008. The AAA 2007 was only submitted on Aug 21, 2008.
GPlus also failed to submit the annual report for FY07 on or before 30 June 2008. The AR 2007 was only submitted on Aug 28, 2008.
The company also failed to submit the company's quarterly reports for the first quarter ended March 31, 2008 and second quarter ended June 30, 2008 on or before May 31, 2008 and Aug 31, 2008 respectively. The firest quarter and second quarter reports were only submitted on Sept 3 and Oct 9, 2008 respectively.
