KUALA LUMPUR: Bina Puri Holdings Bhd has been awarded a RM306.9 million contract to build a Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) campus in Kota Samarahan, Sarawak.

In a filing to Bursa Malaysia on May 17, the construction firm said its unit Bina Puri Construction Sdn Bhd had on May 10 accepted the letter of award from Rekajaya Projek Sdn Bhd for to design and build the Kampong Pinang UiTM campus on part of a plot known as Lot 6204, Blok 1, in the Samarahan Land District in Kota Samarahan.

With the award, the group’s current book order stands at RM1.916 billion. The project is expected to be completed within 30 months.
