KUALA LUMPUR: AmanahRaya Real Estate Investment Trust (ARREIT) posted a 35.7% increase in net profit to RM10.79 million from RM7.95 million a year ago, it revealed in its third quarter (3Q) financial statements for the period ended Sept 30, 2010.
The REIT said on Thursday, Oct 28 that its revenue increased 38.4% to RM16.284 million from RM11.765 million the previous year.
The basic earnings per share increased to 1.88 sen from 1.84 sen a year ago. Net assets per share dropped to RM0.9711 from RM1.0198 a year ago.
ARREIT is managed by AmanahRaya-REIT Managers Sdn Bhd (ARRM) and principally engaged in investing in a diverse portfolio of properties to achieve attractive level of return from rental income and for long-term capital growth.
Some of the properties include industrial, office, hotel and institutions, such as Holiday Villa Alor Setar, Segi College Subang Jaya and Wisma UEP.
