PUTRAJAYA (Aug 1): Putra Perdana Development (PPD), a green property developer in Putrajaya, Precinct 16 — known for its development of energy-efficient lakefront bungalows — said in a statement on Saturday that it had completed the handover of units to home owners of its Danau Mutiara development project.
Danau Mutiara is developed by Senandung Budiman, a wholly-owned subsidiary of PPD which prides itself in developing high-end home projects.
Danau Mutiara, a lakeside home, is built over 12.03 acres of land in Putrajaya, Precinct 16. The development comprises 81 units of residences in total with four types of units available.
PPD chief executive officer Akmel Zurin Haron said: “Danau Mutiara is built following the success of our previous development, the D’Heron at The Lake, also in Putrajaya, Precinct 16. We upped the ante for Danau Mutiara. It was purpose-built and purpose-designed to meet the needs of owners who desire a trendy, modern, state-of-the art lifestyle yet comes packaged with energy-efficient and green features.
“We believe the timely delivery and handover of the units, despite being in the period of a challenging economic environment, marks another feather in our cap as one of the successful green property developers.”
The total gross development value (GDV) for Danau Mutiara is approximately RM213 million. Construction of Danau Mutiara commenced in 2014 and was completed with certificate of completion and compliance issued on May 31, 2016.
To date, 70% of the units have been sold.
Akmel said: “The fact that 70% of the units have been sold is a testament that Senandung Budiman is capable of developing quality homes that are specifically designed to fit the latest lifestyle demands and trends of the more discerning owners.
“It is also an acknowledgement of Danau Mutiara as a value for money development project that offers harmony living with easy accessibility, built by a reputable developer with a solid track record, strategic location in matured surrounding and sustainable features,” Akmel added.
Going forward, PPD is looking to explore the opportunities to grow its business outside of the region of Putrajaya, he said.
The handover of keys announcement was held in conjunction with PPD’s Hari Raya Open House at a Danau Mutiara show unit which was opened to the public.
