PETALING JAYA (Aug 28): Majestic Labs within Eco Majestic brought the Semenyih community together for its Merdeka & Malaysia Day Picnic and Night Market over the weekend, attracting an estimated 1,500 to 2,000 visitors.

Families, friends, and food lovers gathered at Eco Majestic for an evening under the stars, checking out stalls, enjoying live music and outdoor picnic setups.

Visitors came from not only from Semenyih and Eco Majestic’s townships but also from nearby areas including Ampang, Sungai Buloh, Bandar Rinching, Bandar Mahkota Cheras, Balakong, Bandar Bukit Mahkota, Bandar Tasik Kesuma and Bangi.

The turnout highlighted the wide appeal of Majestic Labs’ lifestyle-focused programming, drawing both local residents and Klang Valley visitors alike.

“This event builds on the success of our first community picnic earlier this year. We’re seeing strong demand for curated experiences that combine leisure, food, and a sense of belonging.

“By hosting celebrations like these, we aim to foster community ties and create shared memories beyond traditional retail and dining,” Majestic Labs at Klang Valley said in a statement.

The picnic also underscored Majestic City Park’s growing popularity, with footfall estimated at around 10,000 visitors a month, reflecting its role as a central lifestyle and cultural hub for the township.

Looking ahead, Majestic Labs plans a lineup of immersive activities through the rest of 2025, including weekend artisan markets spotlighting local creators, family-friendly outdoor experiences focused on wellness, sustainability, and play, as well as seasonal celebrations that highlight Malaysian culture and heritage.

Special Shop & Redeem promotions will also give visitors perks for dining or shopping at The Labs’ tenants.

Majestic Labs continues to evolve as Eco Majestic’s lifestyle and cultural nucleus, drawing comparisons to popular hubs such as The Five at Damansara Heights, The Campus in Cyberjaya, and Desa ParkCity’s lively plaza.

Beyond being a lifestyle destination, Majestic Labs showcases a commitment to modern infrastructure, exemplified by Malaysia's first 'smart pedestrian crossing'. The system features a 'laser light runway' using projectors to cast bright, neon-like lines onto the road, significantly increasing the visibility of the zebra crossing for both pedestrians and drivers, especially in low-light conditions.

Positioned at the intersection of retail, dining, and community engagement, Majestic Lab remains committed to fostering connections and enhancing everyday township living.
