KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 15): Beverly Group has entered into a partnership with car park access control solutions provider Parktech Solutions Sdn Bhd to implement an automated car parking system (ACPS) at Milla Residence, Quartz Wangsa Maju. The ACPS solution is provided by South Korean ACPS manufacturer Samjung Tech Co Ltd.

The partnership was officially sealed at Milla Sales Gallery, where the agreement was signed by Beverly Group chief executive officer (CEO) Derick Lim Hwee Loong, Samjung Tech president and CEO Choi Jong Wan and Parktech Solutions managing director Yow Kai Yong.

Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability minister Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad and Maybank commercial banking managing director Jason Wong Seong Kuan also witnessed this signing ceremony.

“This collaboration between Beverly Group and Samjung Tech on the automated car parking system at Milla Residence is a meaningful step toward Malaysia’s sustainability goals. As we advance carbon reduction and eco-friendly urban developments, initiatives like these set an inspiring example of how technology can contribute to a greener, healthier living environment.

“I commend Beverly Group for their dedication to creating sustainable urban spaces that support our nation’s commitment to a cleaner and more responsible future,” Nik Nazmi said.

“We are not here to just add value; we want to redefine sustainable living. Our collaboration with Samjung Tech goes to show how advanced technology can support greener living — enhancing convenience while actively contributing to our environmental goals.

“Through the ACPS and other sustainable features, Beverly Group is committed to eco-friendly urban development by reducing the carbon footprint of traditional parking solutions, starting with Milla Residence,” Lim emphasised.

According to Beverly Group, the ACPS at Milla Residence, which is poised to be one of the largest ACPS installations in Asean, will encompass 2,358 parking bays and 21 car lifts, enhancing both convenience and sustainability for residents.

Designed with user convenience in mind, the ACPS technology streamlines the parking process by automating vehicle storage and retrieval. Residents and visitors can simply park their vehicles at designated entry points on the ground level and depart, leaving the automated system to handle the subsequent operations.

This innovative solution not only minimises the need for manual intervention but also enhances safety within the parking area.

Milla Residence represents a modern and technologically advanced serviced apartment within the vibrant 16.5-acre Quartz Wangsa Maju enclave, conveniently located near the Sri Rampai LRT station and the upcoming Rejang MRT station.

With a diverse selection of layouts ranging from 657 sq ft to 1,249 sq ft, Milla Residence caters to a wide demographic, accommodating everyone from young professionals to multigenerational families, with flexible options that include two to five bedrooms.
