KUALA LUMPUR (April 26): Gamuda Land, the property arm of Gamuda Bhd, has unveiled partners for Gardens Square, the latest commercial development at the 810-acre Gamuda Gardens in Sungai Buloh.
To be completed by end-2024, Gardens Square is set to welcome partners, such as ZUS Coffee, Tealive, ChaTraMue, Long John Silver’s, Bask Bear, 7 Café, Shae.co, Salad Atelier and Happy Potato, as well as anchor tenant Star Grocer, catering to the varied needs and preferences of the community.
“We are thrilled to unveil the exciting line-up of retail partners who will soon call Gamuda Gardens home,” said Gamuda Gardens general manager Andrew Tan.
“As we continue to grow and evolve, our focus remains on creating an inclusive environment where residents can live, work and play seamlessly. These new additions to our commercial landscape underscore our commitment to delivering unparalleled convenience and enriching experiences for all.”
Meanwhile, Star Grocer managing director Fabian Tan said the grocer chose Gamuda Gardens due to its vibrant and growing community, as well as its commitment to sustainability and green living.
“This partnership aligns both companies’ principles in creating spaces for the community, while building a sustainable future for the planet. Gamuda Gardens has breathed a new life into Rawang town, and the area provides an ideal setting for a grocery operation like Star Grocer. Our goal is to provide fresh, high-quality goods sourced locally and internationally, offering residents a variety of products at competitive prices,” he said.
Anchored by a 50-acre pet-friendly central park, Gamuda Gardens has already introduced four residential phases, namely Village Homes, GAIA Residences, Joya and Jovita, since its launch in 2017, with 5,000 residents calling it home. Next in the pipeline is the handover of the two-storey terraced houses, Illaria Hillside Homes, by July 2024. Within the development is also a fully-tenanted park-fronting Waterfront Village, and Gamuda Luge Gardens — a family-themed fun park.
Rasa Riang by Asia Deli, Haruka Bakery and Artist Lab will be part of the line-up at the Waterfront Village, adding to the variety of shops and dining spots.
“We also have our new 532-acre Gardens Park township, which is an extension of Gamuda Gardens. Both townships will be connected via a one-kilometre Park Connector, and Gardens Park will also have a new road that connects it to the Rawang town at the north. This new addition will help extend the success of Gamuda Gardens and replenish our residential offerings, further strengthening our presence in the northern Klang Valley,” Tan added.
Gamuda Gardens and Gardens Park will see an estimated combined population of 45,000 when both townships are completed in 2034.
