• With a gross development value of RM520 million and spans across 4.74 acres of leasehold land, Levia Residence in Cheras is a two-tower condominium with 778 units in total. There will be four types of layout — Type A (767 sq ft), Type B (938 sq ft), Type C (1,109 sq ft) and Type D (1,364 sq ft). The selling price starts at RM684,000 and it is targeted for completion in 3Q2027.

KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 3): Matrix Concepts Holdings Bhd has achieved 30% take-up rate for Levia Residence since its soft launch last August, said Matrix Concepts founder and group executive deputy chairman Datuk Seri Lee Tian Hock during the sale and purchase agreement (SPA) signing ceremony with the Malaysia Basketball Association (Maba) at Wisma Maba, Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday. The developer obtained the advertising permit and developer’s licence (APDL) in July.

In the same event, Lee — who is also the president of Maba — awarded 19 units of Levia Residence’s Type A layout (767 sq ft) to the Malaysia Women’s basketball team, who were the gold medalists of SEA Games in 2015 and 2017. The receivers were 14 players, three trainers and two Maba staff.

“These players have been with the association since the age of 13 to 14 years old. Now, they are nearing the age of retirement and [I found out that] many of them can’t even afford a home,” said Lee. He added that these players, who have served the country, should have a roof over their head.

Besides that, Lee has also shared his plans to redevelop Wisma Maba into an apartment, called Maba Suites KL. He noted that the redevelopment of Wisma Maba is timely, due to the ageing condition of the building.

Sitting on 1.4-acre land, Maba Suites KL will be a serviced apartment featuring two 60-storey towers of about 1,000 units, with a built-up of 300 sq ft. Maba headquarter will be relocated in the same development, taking 3,000 sq ft. The redevelopment will be undertaken by Exsim Group.
