• The ‘Sincerely Setia Sharing Grace of Ramadan’ event aimed to engage communities in need by spreading kindness and creating memorable experiences for school children coming from B40 families and orphans

PENANG (April 13): S P Setia’s Setia Fontaines and S P Setia Foundation broke fast with 80 B40 and asnaf children from Sekolah Kebangsaan Pokok Sena and Inapan Kasih Sayang, a centre for orphans and asnaf children, at the Setia Experience Centre in Kepala Batas, recently.

In a media release, the company stated that “in line” with S P Setia Foundation’s Trust objectives, “the ‘Sincerely Setia Sharing Grace of Ramadan’ event aimed to engage communities in need by spreading kindness and creating memorable experiences for school children coming from B40 families and orphans”.

The evening began with a nasyid performance by Sekolah Kebangsaan Pokok Sena, followed by the breaking of fast before a light show at Setia Fontaines’ newly opened Musical Fountain.

The children also received goody bags and duit raya worth RM50 each, presented by Datuk Yuslina Mohd Yunus, S P Setia Foundation management committee and S P Setia executive vice president.

The event was hosted by Datuk Zaini Yusoff, S P Setia executive vice president. Also in attendance were S P Setia Foundation management committee and head of Group Branding & Communications, Adelene Wong and S P Setia divisional general manager, Ricky Yeo.
