KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 3): Aquaman star Amber Heard has sold a home in the “California desert” for US$1.05 million (RM4.68 million), reported The New York Post on Aug 1.

The daily stated that the “three-bedroom, three-bathroom Yucca Valley estate, which sits on six acres of land in California, was sold off-market” on July 18.

The home reportedly measures 2,450 sq ft with “rocks, mountains and desert views”.

The property has “solid iron front doors, a kitchen with a double griddle stove… wiring for the whole-home surround stereo system” and 1,200 sq ft garage among its amenities.

The same report also revealed that Heard made “a hefty profit” from the sale as she bought the home for US$570,000 back in 2019.

Heard hit the global limelight with her defamation case involving ex-husband Johnny Depp, which she lost.  She has been ordered by the court to pay US$8.3 million to Depp.

The New York Post stated that the new owners of the home are “New Jersey-based Rickard and Carol-Jeanette Jorgensen”.
