KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 4): A unit of Ni Hsin Group Bhd, formerly known as Ni Hsin Resources Bhd, has entered into a brand partnership deal with the Malaysian Institute of Estate Agents (MIEA) to market its products and services to registered members of MIEA.
In a Bursa Malaysia filing on Monday, the stainless steel cookware maker said indirect subsidiary BlackBixon Sdn Bhd signed the agreement as part of its efforts to diversify into the food and beverages business.
Under the deal, MIEA will provide marketing services and related customer acquisition services in promoting the products and services of BlackBixon in return for referral fees and other benefits.
"BlackBixon shall grant branding rights to MIEA in its marketing, advertising and branding activities.
"BlackBixon shall [also] grant to MIEA the non-exclusive right to use BlackBixon's trademarks and trade name in the promotion, advertisement, and sale of the products and/or goods and services," it said.
Ni Hsin said the agreement is expected to contribute positively to the group's future revenue.
Shares in Ni Hsin closed unchanged at 13.5 sen, valuing the group at RM66.2 million. In the past one year, the stock has risen 68.75%.
