KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 16): Two siblings who are pupils of the Wesley Methodist School Kuala Lumpur (International) school (pictured) have tested positive for Covid-19, said a report today.

“It is most unfortunate that we had a pair of siblings who became exposed to Covid-19 from their family, as informed to us by the Health Ministry,” said principal Wong Chee Kheon in statement.

“One of the students is part of the exam cohort of Year 11, while the other is in Year 7,” Wong added.

The school has to conduct a deep disinfection and sanitisation process by Rentokil so that it can “again be used as an exam centre for the ongoing IGSCE exams”, said the statement.

Wesley Methodist School Kuala Lumpur (International) is currently closed until Oct 27 owing to the conditional movement control order (CMCO) imposed on Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya.
