KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 14): A patient seeking treatment at a clinic within The Waterfront commercial area of Desa ParkCity has been found to be Covid-19 positive.

The patient went to the Klinik Mediviron on Oct 8, 2020 and the health authorities notified the clinic on Oct 13 that the person has the virus, said a media release by the management of The Waterfront@Desa ParkCity.

The clinic was immediately closed for sanitising and the attending doctor and nurses have self-quarantined and undertaken Covid-19 tests.

“The clinic will, when ready, resume its operations with replacement doctors and nurses being assigned.

“Our immediate actions included a thorough disinfection and a second round of sanitisation of the affected outlet and the whole centre by a professional sanitising company, in line with the health and safety standards set by the authorities,” the management added.
