KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 12): Sayangi Rumahku will see the completion of the refurbishment work at Flat Seri Kedah public housing scheme (or Perumahan Awam Seri Kedah) in mid-September!
The painting work started from Sept 5 and was set to be completed by end-September, owing to prevailing weather conditions.
Although there was torrential downpour throughout the past one week, especially during the late afternoons, the painting work at Flat Seri Kedah went ahead smoothly.
Progress was even faster than expected, thanks to the help from community volunteers as well as staff from EdgeProp.my, Paramount Property Development Sdn Bhd and Nippon Paint Malaysia.
The refurbishment of the multi-purpose sports court is now almost 90% done, and work should be wrapped up before Malaysia Day!
The Sayangi Rumahku campaign is a joint effort by EdgeProp.my, Paramount Property and Nippon Paint Malaysia in support of the National Community Policy or Dasar Komuniti Negara (DKN) formulated by the Housing and Local Government Ministry which aims to improve the lives of the B40 group.
