KUALA LUMPUR (March 17): All three number forecast operators in the country are temporarily closing their operations from tomorrow till end-March as the movement control order comes into force to contain the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

They will also cancel all draws during the 14-day period.

Magnum Bhd said all its outlets will close temporarily amid the movement control order.

In its Facebook post today, Magnum said it will refund all tickets bought for the underlined Draw IDs: 325/20. 326/20, 327/20, 328/20, 329/20 and 330/20.

A spokesperson for Pan Malaysia Pools Sdn Bhd (Damacai) at its hotline confirmed that all its outlets will also be closed from tomorrow until March 31.

"Under current arrangements, [those with] advanced tickets affected during the period can seek refunds at our outlets from April 1," the spokesperson told theedgemarkets.com.

In a separate Facebook post, Sports Toto Malaysia Sdn Bhd said it will temporarily cease operations from March 18 to 31 and that there will be no draws on March 18, 21, 22, 25, 28 and 29.

It added that customers who have purchased advanced draw tickets for the affected draws may get a refund after March 31. However, it will be rendered null and void after May 31.

At 4.11pm, shares in Magnum were down 5 sen or 2.6% at RM1.87 today, with 2.2 million shares done, bringing a market capitalisation of RM2.69 billion. Berjaya Sports Toto Bhd shares were also down one sen or 0.48% at RM2.09, with 2.57 million shares traded, valuing it at RM2.81 billion.
