KUALA LUMPUR (March 16): Owing to the spike in COVID-19 cases in the country, the Tourism, Arts and Culture Ministry (MOTAC) today announced that a list of tourist attractions in the Klang Valley will be closed from today until April 30.

“After taking into consideration the rise in of COVID-19 cases in the country, and after discussions with the minister, the ministry has decided to close with immediate effect several tourist attractions,” the ministry said in a statement.

Below are the list of venues that are affected by the closure:

1 Malaysia Tourism Centre (MaTiC)

2 Museums under the Tourism, Arts and Culture Ministry

3 National Art Gallery (pictured) 

4 Kompleks Kraf Jln Conlay, Kompleks Kraf Johor and Kompleks Kraf Langkawi

5 Lembah Lenggong Gallery

6 Archive Reference Center

7 Memorials

8 National Library
