KUALA LUMPUR (June 28): Salcon Bhd’s indirect 60%-owned subsidiary Envitech Sdn Bhd has bagged a RM25.67 million contract from Gamuda Land (Botanic) Sdn Bhd to undertake remedial work of existing vacuum sewerage system at KXG 708 & KXG 722 catchments in Bandar Botanic, Klang, Selangor.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, Salcon said Envitech, a 60%-owned subsidiary of Salcon Engineering Bhd, which in turn is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Salcon, has yesterday accepted the letter of award from Gamuda Land (Botanic) for the proposed project.

The project is for seven months, with completion on Jan 27, 2020.

"The project is expected to contribute positively towards the group’s earnings and net assets for the financial years ending Dec 31, 2019 to 2020," said Salcon.
