PUTRAJAYA (Nov 14): Former Federal Territories minister Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor has been arrested by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC), according to a report by The Star.

Having been summoned to the MACC headquarters for questioning, he arrived at the headquarters at 3.15pm today.

The UMNO politician and Putrajaya MP will reportedly be charged over dubious land deals involving Kuala Lumpur City Hall tomorrow.

The daily reported that a special task force had been set up, to probe the 97 transactions worth RM5.63bil, involving 273.27ha of Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) land.

Currently, 14 deals of the deals have been terminated, and 15 have been renegotiated, resulting in an additional revenue of RM49mil.
