MRCB posts RM10 mil net profit in 3Q

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian Resources Corp Bhd (MRCB) posted net profit of RM10.02 million in its third quarter ended Sept 30, 2009, versus a net loss of RM26.81 million a year ago due to better profit margins after completing projects and recognition of profit from its on-going work progress.

AHP, AHP2 record higher net profit

KUALA LUMPUR: Amanah Harta Tanah PNB (AHP) recorded a higher net profit of RM1.910 million in its third quarter ended Sept 30, 2009, up 18.34% from RM1.614 million in the preceding quarter last year.

Revenue for the period increased by 7.35% to RM3.680 million from the RM3.428 million achieved in the corresponding quarter in 2008.

Oriental Interest plans RM60m housing projects

GEORGE TOWN: Oriental Interest Bhd (OIB) plans to embark on eight to nine housing projects in Selangor, Negeri Sembilan and Kedah in 2010, which would have a total gross development value exceeding RM60 million.

AQRS’s Contours development targeting year-end launch

KUALA LUMPUR: AQRS The Building Company Sdn Bhd (AQRS) plans to launch courtyard homes with an estimated gross development value of RM120 million in Melawati Heights in Kuala Lumpur by the year-end.

The Contours, comprising 40 units, is AQRS’s biggest project yet in terms of GDV.
