TM subsidiary signs 10-year concession to manage Menara Kuala Lumpur

KUALA LUMPUR: Telekom Malaysia Bhd (TM) subsidiary Menara Kuala Lumpur Sdn Bhd (MKLSB) has signed a 10-year concession agreement with the government of Malaysia for the operation, management and maintenance of Menara Kuala Lumpur and its land comprising five lots of federal land held under the Federal Land Commissioner.

Fitters Diversified clinches RM32.9m fit out works deal for Kidzania

KUALA LUMPUR: Fitters Diversified Bhd has clinched a RM32.98 million deal for fit out works for Kidzania Kuala Lumpur at The Curve NX Building in Mutiara Damansara, Petaling Jaya.

Fitters, via its unit Z'odd Design Sdn Bhd, was awarded the contract by Rakan Riang Sdn Bhd, the group announced to Bursa Malaysia on Monday, Mar 14.

OSK Property Holdings director resigns

KUALA LUMPUR: Tan Boon Chuan, an executive director of OSK Property Holdings Bhd, has resigned from his post effective immediately, the group announced to Bursa Malaysia on Friday, Mar 11.

Tan, 50, had joined group subsidiary OSK Properties Sdn Bhd in 2004 as chief operating officer.

He was previously a business development director in Citraprop Sdn Bhd for two years.

CBRE: Hospitality industry recovering in 4Q

KUALA LUMPUR: CB Richard Ellis (Malaysia) (CBRE) reported that the hospitality industry, especially 5-star hotels, have recovered in 2010 with full-year occupancy for 5-star hotels reaching 68%, up from 2009s 58%, it said in its 4Q Marketview Kuala Lumpur Hospitality report on Friday, Mar 11.
