Residential Tenancy Act needed to protect tenants’ right and avoid discrimination

“We are now studying the need of enacting the Residential Tenancy Act to protect tenants’s rights. In the future, property owners are not allowed to have discriminative wordings in their rental listings, such as against certain races or genders,” she said during the press conference after unveiling the National Housing Policy (Dasar Perumahan Negara/ DRN) 2018 – 2025 today.
