Of the 86 new Covid-19 deaths, 20 were registered in Selangor, 14 in Johor, 13 in Negeri Sembilan, seven in Kuala Lumpur, five in Sarawak, four in Kedah, three each in Sabah, Melaka, Pahang, Perak, Labuan and Penang, two each in Kelantan and Terengganu, and one in Perlis
Total fatalities now stand at 3,096, almost double the toll as of May 1. The virus has killed 1,575 individuals in the country over the past month.
Of the 126 deaths, 29 cases were in Selangor, 18 in Kuala Lumpur, 14 in Negeri Sembilan, 12 in Kelantan, 11 in Johor, 10 in Kedah, eight in Labuan, five in Melaka, five in Terengganu, four in Sarawak, three in Pahang, two in Sabah, two in Putrajaya, two in Perak and one in Penang.
The group said its wholly owned-subsidiary Advancecon Infra Sdn Bhd was awarded the job by Sime Darby Property’s unit Sime Darby Property (Serenia City) Sdn Bhd for the Serenia City project.
Selangor led the country again with 2,068 new cases, followed by Kuala Lumpur (817), Sarawak (703), Kelantan (531) and Penang (400).
The land — at present vested in the State Authority of Penang — measures 21.04 acres and is marked as Plots 323b and 323c in Batu Kawan Industrial Park, Seberang Perai Selatan.
Based on data prepared by the CITF today, 38,524 individuals have received their first dose while another 22,937 have received their second dose on May 30.
The country’s new cases stayed above the 7,000 mark for three straight days before breaching a new high of 8,290 yesterday. Sadly, it climbed to 9,020 cases today.
