UEM Sunrise completes 351 units of affordable homes in Iskandar Puteri

ISKANDAR PUTERI (June 7): Property developer UEM Sunrise Bhd has handed over 20 keys to owners of the Bayu Nusantara affordable homes in Iskandar Puteri (formerly known as Nusajaya) at Iskandar Malaysia, Johor, the group announced in a press release today.

The remaining 331 owners will also be handed their respective keys in the near future.

The affordable housing development which comprises the Rumah Mampu Milik Johor (RMMJ), Perumahan Komuniti Johor (PKJ) and Kedai Kos Sederhana (KKS) in Bayu Nusantara, Iskandar Puteri, Johor was launched in September 2014 with total costs amounting to RM46 million.

The development includes 30 units of shop lots measuring 20ft by 60ft priced at RM200,000; 241 units of RMMJ terraced houses measuring 18ft by 60ft with a built-up of 1,000 sq ft priced at RM150,000; and 80 units of PKJ terraced houses measuring 16ft by 55ft with a built-up of 850 sq ft priced at RM80,000.

Meanwhile, the presentation of Sijil Layak Memiliki for 10 eligible purchasers out of the 474 applicants so far for the developer’s newest affordable housing project known as Denai Nusantara also took place at the same event.

Denai Nusantara will consist of five 12-storey blocks, each having 1,109 units with every unit comprising three bedrooms and a built-up of 1,000 sq ft for RM150,000; and 1-storey shop lots comprising 108 units with a built-up of 1,200 sq ft and priced at RM200,000 each.

Denai Nusantara is expected to be completed by 2017.
