PETALING JAYA (Aug 3): M3 Mall, which is located in Taman Melati, Kuala Lumpur, is scheduled to open in October.

A joint venture between Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (DBKL) and Gerbang Mekar Sdn Bhd, more than 80% of the mall is tenanted, said Gerbang Mekar in a statement. 

Gerbang Mekar, which focuses on property investment, is an associate of property development company Mega Planner Jaya Sdn Bhd.

Gerbang Mekar said it expects the remaining expected to be taken up by the end of the year.

Comprising six levels of approximately 200,000 sq ft lettable space with 550 car park lots, the mall is a focal point of the urban redevelopment the Wangsa Maju-Maluri Zone under the Kuala Lumpur Structure Plan 2020.

The mall  is located about  100m away from the light rail transit (LRT) and from the planned Gombak Integrated Transport Terminal (GITT). 
M3 Mall is expected to increase commerce, create jobs and provide convenience to the Gombak community, said Gerbang Mekar.
