KUALA LUMPUR: Kumpulan Europlus Bhd (KEuro) has sold 10.91 million shares in Talam Corporation Bhd for RM1.2 million, representing 0.35% of KEuro's total voting shares in Talam.

The group said on Tuesday, Oct 5 that the sales proceeds arising from the disposal will be used to pay creditors. The share sales had resulted in a net profit of RM470,000 or 10 sen per share, and its net assets were boosted by 1 sen to 19 sen per share.

KEuro said the book cost of the shares is RM730,000.

The shares were placed out at 11 sen per share on a willing-buyer willing-seller basis, it said.

The group had sold the Talam shares, which were the result of a conversion of redeemable convertible secured loan stock-D (RCSLS-D) acquired on Sept 9, following shareholder approval at its EGM held on July 12.
