KUALA LUMPUR: Kuching-based property developer, Ibraco Bhd’s chairman and director, Deanna Ibrahim @ Sorayah Abdullah has resigned from her posts with effect from June 1, 2010.

Deanna, 68, joined the Ibraco Group of Companies on Aug 30, 1971.

In 1982, she was appointed as Group Chairman and Chief Executive Officer until Jan 31, 2003, whereupon she relinquished the CEO post to her youngest son, Wan Kamal Ibrahim Wan Alwi Ibrahim, while still retaining the role of Group Chairman.

On Jan 1, 2006, she was redesignated as Group Chairman/Executive Director of Ibraco. She was redesignated as Non-Executive Chairman on Nov 12, 2009.

Among the completed projects by Ibraco are the Tabuan Heights Commercial Centre and Tabuan Jaya Baru 1 & 2 in Kuching.
