• Under the tie-up, Samsung will supply integrated smart systems for energy management, security enhancement and connectivity optimisation in selected IJM Land properties.

KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 1): IJM Land Bhd has partnered with Samsung Malaysia Electronics to incorporate smart home technologies across its existing and soon-to-be-completed residential developments, underscoring the property developer’s ambition to shape future-ready, sustainable townships.

According to a press statement on Wednesday (July 30), the collaboration was launched the same day at the IJM Land Centre of Excellence ICE Gallery @ Pantai Sentral Park, and was officiated by IJM Land chief executive officer Datuk Tony Ling and Samsung Malaysia Electronics president Charles Kim.

IJM Land said the initiative aligns with its commitment to sustainability by adopting solutions that minimise environmental impact, while enhancing operational efficiency and homeowner experience.

Under the tie-up, Samsung will supply integrated smart systems for energy management, security enhancement and connectivity optimisation in selected IJM Land properties.

Ling said: “Across all our projects, we are committed to reducing environmental impact through energy-efficient designs, durable and low-maintenance materials, and eco-conscious planning”.

“Through this initiative with Samsung’s smart living technologies, we aim to create communities that are not only environmentally conscious and future-ready, but also equipped with innovative solutions that make everyday life simpler, more connected, and more sustainable,” he added.

The collaboration is part of a wider rollout under IJM Land’s “Smart Move” campaign, which incentivises smart home adoption through rebates, product giveaways and service perks.

Homebuyers of eligible projects may receive Samsung appliances worth up to RM470,000, product discounts of up to 50%, and up to RM9 million in total campaign rewards. Selected purchasers will also benefit from free memorandum of transfer, and two years of complimentary maintenance fees.

The campaign will run across completed projects and those scheduled for completion by March 31, 2026.

IJM Land said the partnership reflects its four-pillar sustainability framework—Marketplace, Environment, Workplace and Community—and will support broader efforts to equip show galleries with solar panels and electric-vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure.
