SHAH ALAM (April 18): In conjunction with Ramadan and Syawal months, Setia Foundation, the charity arm of S P Setia Bhd has successfully held the Sincerely, Setia Festive Assistance – Hari Raya Aidilfitri programme for Asnaf communities and orphans, through three key events.

They were conducted at Masjid Al-Umm at Bandar Baru Bangi near Setia Alamsari, Kajang on March 19, followed by Masjid Al-Firdaus near Setia Eco Templer, Rawang on March 21, 2025, and at Setia Alamsari Welcome Centre in Setia Alamsari, Kajang on March 24, 2025.

Sincerely, Setia Festive Assistance – Hari Raya Aidilfitri benefited approximately 196 families, which equated to a total of 895 individuals across all of the events of the programme.

In collaboration with Perumahan Kinrara Berhad (PKB) Zakat, which is a subsidiary of Setia, and Lembaga Zakat Selangor (LZS), the programme took place at selected mosques near the Asnaf communities’ living areas of Setia Eco Templer and Setia Alamsari, where donations were handed over to them.

Each of the Asnaf families received zakat from PKB Zakat, amounting to RM150 per family.

Meanwhile, Syawal gift baskets worth RM80 per family were also distributed, containing essential food items such as ketupat nasi, kuah kacang and/or rendang pastes, sugar, flour, margarine, bihun, sardine, Milo, tea bags, and coffee powder.

Setia Foundation’s management committee and Setia’s senior executive vice president, Datuk Yuslina Mohd Yunus said:“This year, our Sincerely, Setia Festive Assistance – Hari Raya Aidilfitri programme which is guided by our Trust Deeds and partnerships with PKB Zakat and LZS, focuses on underserved Asnaf communities and orphans for a more meaningful impact whilst providing joyful Raya experiences for them.”
