• “We launched Amaya Series 2 in the first quarter of this year, and there are about 186 units. Approximately 90% of the units have been taken up.”

RAWANG (Dec 2): Low Yat Group (LYG) has launched a buyer-referral programme to reward current Amaya @ Acacia Park homeowners, allowing them to earn a 1% commission on the net selling price of any Amaya Series 2 home.

Recognising that existing buyers are well acquainted with their properties, the developer aims to introduce its residential projects to potential buyers through their recommendations, LYG’s subsidiary Rawang Lakes Sdn Bhd area property (development and management) general manager Andrew Goh told EdgeProp Malaysia during the Amaya Series 1 Customer Appreciation Night on Saturday.

Buyers drawn by strategic location and modern design

Held in Bandar Tasik Puteri (BTP) here, the event was organised to celebrate and congratulate customers for achieving a significant milestone of homeownership in this new township — the largest in northern Klang Valley.

Guests were invited to participate in various activities, including a photo booth, personalised caricature drawings and the “Voices of Amaya” wall, where they could share their thoughts and experiences. Zorb ball dance and live band performances added to the festive atmosphere.

Many attendees commended the project's strategic location and modern design, which align with their lifestyle needs.

“I chose Amaya because of its strategic location and modern features, which perfectly suit my needs. It's conveniently close to my workplace in Rawang and offers a friendly community, schools and shops,” Amaya Series 1 homeowner Fatin Fatihah shared during an interview with the event's emcee.

She highlighted that the peaceful outdoor environment at Amaya was the primary factor that had drawn her to the community. The greenery and spacious common areas make it a great place to relax and unwind without having to leave the community.

Amaya Series 2 expected to be fully sold by year-end

Launched in November 2022, all the 201 landed units of Amaya Series 1 have been sold out.

“We were fully booked within six months, and by the eighth month, all units were registered by the homebuyers,” Goh said.

"We launched Series 2 in the first quarter of this year, and there are about 186 units. Approximately 90% of the units have been taken up. We expect all the units to be fully sold by the end of the year," he added.

Goh highlighted that Amaya Series is the company’s first-ever landed strata development in the past 20 years. He said that homebuyers in Rawang are eager for something fresh and this project caters for their needs.

He indicated what makes Amaya sought after is its simple, linear design. The double-storey terrace houses feature an open-concept layout, with no unnecessary partitions, creating a spacious and airy feel.

“The abundance of greenery, both in the back alleys and communal areas, promotes a healthy and family-friendly environment. The clubhouse, with its swimming pool and play park, offers residents a complete lifestyle within the community. They can relax, socialise, and enjoy leisure activities without having to leave the neighbourhood,” Goh elaborated.

Amaya @ Acacia Park is the first gated-and-guarded residential development with clubhouse facilities in BTP. It features modern contemporary designs with an open, gateless concept, enabling residents to bring the outdoors into their homes. Spanning 28.26 acres, the project comprises 2-storey terrace houses. With built-ups from 1,619 sq ft, they are priced RM600,620 onwards.
