KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 15): Mudajaya Group Bhd (KL:MUDAJYA) has bagged a contract worth RM41.34 million for the construction of a 17-storey condominium in Kuching, Sarawak.

The group said its wholly owned subsidiary, Mudajaya Corp Bhd, was awarded the contract on Friday by MJC City Development Sdn Bhd.

The project, comprising 128 units at the Batu Kawah new township, is expected to be completed within 22 months.

Mudajaya said the contract is expected to contribute positively to its earnings from the financial year ending Dec 31, 2024 onwards.

The group said James Wong Tet Foh serves as common director of both Mudajaya Corp and MJC City Development Sdn Bhd.

Mudajaya’s shares price closed up half a sen or 5.26% at 10 sen, bringing the group a market capitalisation of RM266 million.
