KUALA LUMPUR (May 28): All 122 units of Sime Darby Property Bhd's (KL:SIMEPROP) Elmina Ridge 1 (phase one) residential development in the City of Elmina, Shah Alam has been fully taken up.

The entire Elmina Ridge 1 development comprises 228 units of superlink, cluster and semi-detached homes with a total gross development value (GDV) of RM373 million. Meanwhile, phase one of Elmina Ridge 1 has 122 units with a GDV of RM201.7 million.

Priced from RM1.2 million, the superlink homes come with four bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and built-ups ranging from 2,265 to 2,697 sq ft. The cluster homes consist of 4+1 bedrooms and four bathrooms in a 2,732 sq ft built-up, priced from RM1.5 million. Meanwhile, the semi-detached homes feature 4+1 bedrooms, five bathrooms in a 3,237 sq ft built-up with a starting price of RM2 million.

Each residence is equipped with solar panels and batteries, electric vehicle (EV) charger isolator point and digital locks, among others. Community facilities include tennis and badminton courts, a putting lawn, hiking trails, a CrossFit zone, a children’s playground and more. The development also has close to 10 acres of green spaces.

In a media statement on Tuesday, Sime Darby Property chief operating officer (township development) Appollo Leong said: "This project is the first biophilic-concept home in the City of Elmina. It is designed with dedicated indoor planting areas, skylight panels, and large window openings to integrate nature and natural lighting into the home, creating a harmonious blend of modern comforts and eco-friendly living."

The Elmina Ridge precinct is accessible via the Guthrie Corridor Expressway and the proposed link to the DamansaraShah Alam Elevated Expressway (Dash) Highway.
