• Polygon Properties founder and director Derek Soh: “We aim to be a seamless and borderless real estate organisation, offering equal opportunities to all who seek to transform their lives.”

PETALING JAYA (March 14): Polygon Properties revamped its business model with the launch of Polygon 3.0, which introduced the company’s new Strategy Core 5, and Polygon One App at the agency’s recent seventh anniversary celebration.

Launched by Polygon Properties founders Derek Soh and CJ Hah, the agency’s redefined business model, coupled with successful digitalisation efforts, provides an improved platform and services for members, clients and developers, aligning with its new direction. According to Soh, Strategy Core 5 encompasses the new Purpose, Vision, Mission, Core Values and Positioning of Polygon Properties.

“We aim to be a seamless and borderless real estate organisation, offering equal opportunities to all who seek to transform their lives. We believe in ‘A Changed Life, Changes Lives’,” said Soh.

Themed ‘Magical Night’, which symbolised the agency’s magical journey over the years, saw 147 awards given out at the event. Notable recognitions included the ‘Deal of the Year’ award for single office rental valued at RM250,000, the ‘Deal of the Year’ award for single residential sales valued at RM15,000,000, three agents took home the Million Dollar Realtors award, and the first Role Model award.

“We have presented the first Role Model award this year, which was awarded to Alice Ng for her dedication to sales performance, effective leadership qualities and proactive approach to innovation. These qualities align with the 7 Core Values of Polygon Properties,” he highlighted.

The agency also announced the establishment of Polygon Properties Management this year, broadening its services to include asset management and building management. This expansion maximises value creation for clients, including home buyers, investors and developers, reflecting the agency’s commitment in building a trusted, professional, seamless and borderless real estate organisation.

On the same night, Polygon Properties inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Flash Group, a short and mid-term leasing solution, and De'entertainment to serve as the agency’s social media partner.

Last year, Polygon Properties signed a collaboration with EdgeProp to “create a better real estate platform for both of our organisations”, said Soh then.

“Members of Polygon Properties can access timely market information and property insight [from EdgeProp], which not only improves the professionalism of our members but also benefits our clients in making better decisions,” he added.

In 2024, the agency is seeking to expand its sales force with its comprehensive platform in place. “The number of Real Estate Negotiators (RENs) has been growing steadily. Polygon Properties has also added another branch in Rawang, potentially another one in Petaling Jaya, with another two satellite offices coming up in Klang and Cyberjaya,” he said.

More than 400 attendees, including Polygon Properties members, developers, valuers, lawyers and associates, dressed in fairy tales costumes at the agency’s seventh anniversary celebration.
