SHAH ALAM (June 28): S P Setia subsidiary I&P Alam Impian Sdn Bhd has entered a partnership with UiTM Shah Alam to promote “artistic expression and creative lifestyles among its community”.

In a media release, S P Setia stated that its effort “is in line with the “Arts Inspired Living” concept of S P Setia’s township development Setia Alam Impian” here.

“Apart from inspiring and encouraging our communities to incorporate elements of the arts in their everyday lives through the designs of our township, we want to provide budding artistes the platform where they can be known for their hard work and receive the publicity that they deserve.

“Malaysia offers a diverse and vibrant pool of talents and we want to be a part of elevating the arts and culture scene,” said Datuk Zaini Yusoff, executive vice-president of S P Setia following the signing of a Letter of Intent on June 22.

In collaboration with UiTM Shah Alam, I&P Alam Impian will be establishing an Arts Residency Programme at Setia Alam Impian, providing budding artists with opportunities to showcase their talents.

The programme welcomes UiTM students, alumni local artistes, residents of Setia Alam Impian, as well as the public.

As part of this initiative, Setia Alam Impian and UiTM Shah Alam will also organise a series of creative workshops, exhibitions and performances for such emerging artists to present their works.

Setia Alam Impian will contribute venues within the township for the displays.
