KUALA LUMPUR (April 20): The Malaysia My Second Home Consultants Association (MM2HCA) has lauded the government’s move to create a one-stop centre under the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture for the programme.

According to a press statement on Wednesday (April 19), the one-stop centre will offer services such as coordinating all stakeholder feedback as well as streamlining communications and coordination between the various stakeholders.

The statement added: “It will serve as a central point of contact for all stakeholders, and help ensure that the MM2H programme is operating at optimal levels of efficiency and effectiveness.

“MM2HCA is committed to actively engaging with the government in the review process, providing input and feedback based on our expertise and experience as MM2H consultants.”

The MM2H programme has been an essential contributor to Malaysia’s economy, the statement said, adding that it attracts high-net-worth individuals from around the world and provides economic benefits to various sectors.

Some sectors include the government, hospitality industry, medical tourism, private education, real estate and financial institutions.
