Michel Yong (REN 17375) (012-987 3493) of Zerin Properties Sdn Bhd, who closed the deal, said the owner was an investor who did not use the office space. The tenant however, was keen on the unit because the owner was willing to compromise and renovate the space as per the tenant's requests.
Yong deemed the deal a good one because a few years ago, the rental rate was considered terrible and it disappointed a lot of buyers. Now, foreign companies and investors have a positive outlook on the Malaysian market.
As of the beginning of April, there were 42 for sale listings for property at KL Eco City on EdgeProp.my with an average asking price of RM8,365,155 or RM805.43 psf . Meanwhile, there were 100 rental listings with an average monthly rent of RM33,513.03 or RM4.45 psf.
