KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 16): Gandingan Jakel in joint-venture (JV) with Platinum Victory, has unveiled J.Satine SOHO, a component of its mixed development J.Satine SOHO, Apartment and Retail in Setapak, Kuala Lumpur.

Due to encouraging sales of its affordable home scheme under the federal housing purview — J.Satine Residensi Wilayah, which was launched in July 2022 — the developer decided to launch the J.Satine SOHO component.

“The sales [for J.Satine Residensi Wilayah] were encouraging, as we have about 75% applications for our first phase comprising two blocks of 44-storeys with a total of 2,068 units, where 50% approved applicants were taken up; and the balance 25% applications (are) pending approval from the relevant authorities. With such encouragement, we decided to unveil our J.Satine SOHO, the new compact living development catering to investors of both expanding real estate and building an investment portfolio,” said Gandingan Jakel in a press release dated Feb 13.

The developer added: “With Jakel’s strategic landbank across Malaysia’s major cities, alongside Platinum Victory’s vast resources and experience in pushing the benchmark of the industry, we solidified a partnership that has the potential to become an iconic entity, poised to produce projects that shall play key roles in the economy’s post-pandemic recovery, growth and expansion.”

J.Satine SOHO sits on a 0.92-acre site and offers 661 units with built-ups ranging from 546 square feet (sq ft) to 966 sq ft. The indicative price is from RM328,000. There are four layout design options.

Facilities will include a sky garden, swimming pool, BBQ area and an outdoor fitness area to promote a healthy lifestyle.

J.Satine SOHO is located near Wangsa Maju, Gombak and KL city centre. It has connectivity with Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2), Duta-Ulu Kelang Expressway (DUKE), as well as the new Sungai Besi-Ulu Kelang Elevated Expressway (SUKE). There are links to LRT Wangsa Maju, LRT Sri Rampai and LRT Taman Melati, which are just three kilometres (km) away.

Nearby amenities include healthcare, education and a wide array of retail options with Setapak Central Mall, KL East Mall and Melawati Mall within a five-km range.
