KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 20): Chester Properties expects its real estate agents to benefit greatly after its recent link-up with EdgeProp.my recently.

Chester Properties CEO J Y Kam is optimistic that the EdgeProp.my platform will “give the greatest value to all the real estate negotiators of our agency”.

“We are impressed with the overall plan provided by EdgeProp.my as well as the overall growth of the platform,” Kam told EdgeProp.my.

Kam explained that “the complete data, listing integration and tech-enablement programme will further enhance our agency plans to move forward fully in our technology drive”.

Chester Properties was founded in 2006 by Datuk Howard Chew and Sean Yong, and has grown to 14 branches in Malaysia and three overseas collaboration offices in Indonesia, Hong Kong and China.

“We are grateful we have come to such a collaboration at the best timing.

“We always believe that the media is the best partner that could bring us to a higher level in our business ambitions.

“We look forward to working closely with EdgeProp.my on all future programmes and creating a win-win situation for both of us,” Kam said.

Meanwhile, EdgeProp.my head of business development Nimalen Parimalam said the collaboration enables Chester’s agents to access the latest data tools on the former’s property website.

“This will benefit their [Chester Properties’] clients to make better-informed decisions on their property purchases,” said Nimalen.

“It is important to have the right data to guide their decisions,” he added.
