PETALING JAYA (Aug 23): Comprehensive data is important in order to understand the current market, be it for real estate negotiators, property owners or potential buyers.

To this end, MLP Property Consultancy Sdn Bhd recently signed a collaboration deal to become one of EdgeProp’s agency partners.

MLP associate director Andrew Tan said the agency decided to partner with EdgeProp to benefit its negotiators as they need to know about the market.

“EdgeProp could provide us more concrete and solid data. The collaboration also adds a good portfolio to the company,” he said.

He added that the data available in EdgeProp.my is comprehensive as it includes the actual market, the demands, the comparison among areas of interest and returns of investment for specific areas.

“It is better than the valuation reports that some organisations provide us,” Tan said.

The professionalism level among MLP negotiators would be boosted when they are armed with the availability of such data, and this would help them achieve more sales.

As the pandemic dampen the market, Tan said buyers and owners have not been confident with the current and future market, but the current data would show them the property market is still good and growing strong.

“The data our negotiators could provide to owners and buyers would bring confidence in the market,” he said.

He noted although there have been challenges during the pandemic such as the rise of material prices and unstable situations, the market is expected to boom in 1Q2023.

“Given the challenging environment, it is essential for our members to be equipped with the latest marketing tools and expertise to reap the unlimited income potential from real estate sales,” Tan said.

EdgeProp head of business development Nimalen Parimalam said the collaboration will allow MLP’s agents to access industry-leading tools and reports, which will help its clients in making informed decisions about their properties.

“Our goal is to work together with our partner agencies such as MLP and ensure these data are organised and accessible to you in a user-friendly way,” he said.

MLP, which is an expert in Malay Reserve properties, provides reliable real estate sales and advisory services for properties, including residential, commercial, industrial and mixed developments. It covers a vast array of locations such as Kuala Lumpur city, Bukit Jalil, Klang, Banting, Seremban, Meru, Kapar, Semenyih, Bangi and Nilai.
