KL Eco City is a 25-acre mixed-use development by S P Setia Bhd. It received the MSC Cybercentre status in Oct 2021. It is located along Jalan Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur.
Within this development, Menara 2 consists of boutique, premium and Grade A office spaces. Its strategic location is further enhanced by its connection to Abdullah Hukum LRT station and a pedestrian bridge that links KL Eco City to Mid Valley.
According to Kelly Tan from Hectarworld Realty Sdn Bhd, the tenant, an ICT (information and communications technology) company, had chosen to rent an office space at KL Eco City because of its MSC certification.
Its address, accessibility via public transportation and highways, and ample amenities surrounding the area have also been factored in by the tenant.
The tenants were also able to save time and fit-out cost as the office space had been partially furnished. Furthermore, it came with a private lift and designated washrooms.
“The tenant was committed to a long-term lease, thus they had received a good rate from the landlord,” said Tan.
As of mid-April 2022, there were 34 units at KL Eco City listed for sale in EdgeProp.my with prices ranging from RM2.09 million or RM1,156.75 psf. There were also 148 units listed for rent at an average asking monthly rate of RM20,105.35 or RM5.29 psf.
