WCT Malls Management promotes safer indoor air quality by installing Panasonic’s Nanoe™ X technology

PETALING JAYA (March 23): WCT Malls Management Sdn Bhd is taking additional measures by improving its air quality management systems to all its retail premises by installing the nanoe™ X technology air purification solution by Panasonic Malaysia.

The installation covers all premises under WCT Malls management namely Paradigm Mall Petaling Jaya, Paradigm Mall Johor Bahru, gateway@klia2 and SkyPark Terminal.

This implementation is part of WCT’s precautionary steps in providing comprehensive safety precautions and measures for a cleaner and more hygienic environment.

In a media statement on March 21 (Monday), WCT Malls Management chief executive officer Selena Chua said this is done to prioritise the safety of their customers as they shop comfortably in an enclosed space.

“We want to reduce the risk faced by our visitors when they are exposed to different individuals each time they shop or gather at our premises. Therefore, we upgraded the malls’ facilities to offer a conducive environment for our patrons to have a pleasant experience as they spend quality time with their loved ones at our malls.”

WCT Malls Management Sdn Bhd is the property investment and management business under WCT Holdings Berhad. 

Panasonic’s nanoe™ X technology works by collecting moisture in the air and applying high voltage to the moisture to produce a particle called hydroxyl radical. 

This hydroxyl radical particle is responsible for inhibiting pollutants, viruses and bacteria, purifying and deodorising the air and surfaces. 

Meanwhile, QAFL Business Promotion Office of Panasonic Corporation managing director Ichiro Suganuma expressed Panasonic’s commitment in promoting a cleaner and safer IAQ with their technology with the strategic partnership with WCT Group.

Besides retail space, WCT Group has also installed the nanoe™ X technology in their office premises, showrooms and hotels for the protection of staff members and guests.
