Developed by UOA Group, The Horizon is a 22-block office building located in Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur. It was developed in two phases in 2009 and 2011. The office tower ranges from 10-storey to 20-storey buildings. Bangsar South was awarded the MSC cybercentre status in 2010.
According to Kelly Tan from Hectarworld Realty who concluded the deal, the current tenants were on the lookout for a new office space. Tan added that they had been surveying for office space at Mid Valley and KL Sentral before deciding on this office space in The Horizon.
It was a fast-decision process as it only took two months for them to decide, said Tan.
Tan explained that the tenant decided on The Horizon due to its location, proximity to clients' offices and the well-planned development: “The tenant likes Bangsar South as it is a very well-planned mixed development with lots of ready amenities such as hotel, serviced residences, F&B outlets, banks and the development comes complete with green spaces.”
As of early-March 2022, a total of five units were listed for sale on EdgeProp.my with an asking price ranging from RM5.2 million (RM1,000 psf) to RM228 million (RM923 psf) while 21 units have been listed for rental with monthly asking price ranging from a built-up of 107 sq ft for RM3,700 (RM34.6 psf) to a built-up of 8,600 sq ft for RM49,880.5 (RM5.8 psf).
