South Brooks achieves highest ‘QLASSIC’ score of 86%

KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 27): Luxurious residential development project, South Brooks, at Desa ParkCity developed by Perdana ParkCity Sdn Bhd has been accorded with an 86% Quality Assessment System for Building Construction Works (QLASSIC) score, the highest score awarded in Malaysia under the high-rise residential category.

Completed in September this year, South Brooks sits on 7.16 acres of land spread across two blocks of 40-storey residential apartments. With a total of 920 units and built-up areas ranging from 876 sq ft 1,537 sq ft, it comes with a variety of facilities including a siesta pavilion, grape vines trellis, adventure playground, gymnasium, swimming pool, chill out family lounge, shallow pool, jacuzzi and sunken lounge.

QLASSIC is a system or method to measure and evaluate the workmanship quality of a building based on Construction Industry Standard (CIS 7:2006), in which it is objectively compared through a scoring system. It is issued by the Malaysia’s Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB).

South Brooks was constructed by Crest Builder Sdn. Bhd. (Crest Builder), a wholly owned subsidiary of Crest Builder Holdings Berhad.

“We commend Crest Builder’s performance and is proud that South Brooks’ development had received the ‘QLASSIC’ certification with 86% score, which is the highest recorded project in Desa ParkCity, and also the highest ‘QLASSIC’ score under the high-rise residential category in Malaysia,” said Tai.
