PETALING JAYA (Aug 21): The National Security Council (NSC) has removed the 10km travel limit for residents who are fully vaccinated in states and territories under Phase One of the National Recovery Plan (NRP), reported The Star today.
However, they are still limited by interstate and inter-district travel restrictions.
Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, Negri Sembilan, Melaka, Johor and Kedah are states and territories which are still under Phase One of the NRP.
“The movement of individuals who have been fully vaccinated is allowed, subject to the capacity of the vehicles,” said the NSC in a statement yesterday.
The NSC clarified that only those who have received their second jabs of the two dose vaccines such as Pfizer, AstraZeneca and Sinovac and followed by a period of 14 days are deemed fully vaccinated.
As for one-shot vaccines such as Johnson & Johnson and CanSino, individuals are considered fully vaccinated after 28 days upon receiving their injections.
