PETALING JAYA (July 12): Two more projects in Penang are applying to be able to sell their units via the rent-to-own scheme, reported The Star.

The completed projects on Penang’s mainland are 301 units in Mak Mandin and Tok Suboh, said the state’s Local Government, Housing, Town and Country Planning Committee chairman Jagdeep Singh Deo.

He lauded M Summit Group for initiating the scheme among developers in Penang.

The developer’s Ramah Pavilion at Teluk Kumbar saw 50 units of homes offered under the RTO arrangement taken up within two months.
