PETALING JAYA (July 11): A water tank on an 18m-tower at a school in Maran, Terengganu, burst and collapsed this morning, damaging three cars parked nearby, reported Bernama.

No one was injured in the 6.15am incident at Sekolah Menengah Agam Chenor, said Maran District Police chief DSP Norzamri Abd Rahman.

According to school principal Sharifah Hasaniah Syed Abd Rahman, the water tank has been in use for 20 years.

Norzamri said the Fire and Rescue Deparment (Bomba), Pengurusan Air Pahang Bhd and Public Works Department assisted the school in clearing the debris.
