PETALING JAYA (June 28): The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) are raiding a luxury condominium unit owned by businessman Low Taek Jho – more popularly known as Jho Low – along Jalan Kia Peng in Kuala Lumpur, reported several news outlets.

MACC officers allegedly had to break into the condo’s main door and found some cash in a safe, reported Free Malaysia Today.

A warrant sighted by the portal said the raid was conducted following investigations that found “logical reasons to suspect that information on offences under the MACC Act 2009 could be available at the premises”.

Alleged photos of the raid that were floating online depicted a paper shredder and a safe inside the condo.

Meanwhile, sources told The Star that the commission was tipped off about the existence of the home.
